02. Anticipate climate risks on an urban micro-scale

Model the climate for a given district using an automatic scientific approach:

  • Use an urban climate model that takes into account all the local elements that can have an impact on the local climate , such as buildings, ground cover, green surfaces, anthropogenic activities, geography and orography,
  • Analyze global, regional, and local historical climate data that has an impact on urban microscale climates. Complement with real-time analyses of climate parameters,
  • Deploy an observation network to monitor the earth’s surface and the atmospheric boundary layer (Climate Birds and Meteoblue networks).

DELIVERABLE: a synthesis of climate events linked to the district, including trends and solutions to help minimizing climate impact.
